IMG Hospital to host the II International Congress on Quality and Innovation in Health 2025

Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Hospital IMG is proud to announce its role as host of the II International Congress on Quality and Innovation in Health 2025, a key event for the strengthening of the healthcare sector in the region. Organized by the Association of Private Hospitals of Central America, Panama and the Dominican Republic (AHPCAP-RD), the congress will bring together more than 200 healthcare professionals on June 27-28, 2025 in Punta Cana.

The congress will be attended by more than 30 high-level speakers from prestigious universities and hospitals in Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Colombia and Panama. During the event, knowledge and experiences will be exchanged with the aim of strengthening patient care and improving quality standards in health services.

As part of the organizing committee, IMG Hospital reaffirms its commitment to innovation and quality in the healthcare sector. Ivana de Medrano, President of AHPCAP-RD, emphasized that the training of human resources is one of the greatest challenges facing healthcare centers in the region. In this sense, the congress will promote training and updating initiatives for healthcare personnel, addressing topics such as medical innovation, scientific research, clinical excellence and updating of healthcare protocols.
